The building is the old Varina train depot. The history of the building can be traced back to 1903. The building used to be located right on the tracks behind the building. It has moved from its original location…but not too far away. The lower left side of the building used to be the telegraph office for the town.
Today the historic Varina train depot houses an African mahogany bar that spans 38feet. This is a true beer drinkers heaven with lots of wood and hearty plank floors. You owe it to your self to spend some time consuming a fresh brewed beer and bathe in the history of Varina at Aviator Tap House.
